Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lawyer to provide legal guidance on corporate affairs and support the company’s business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on corporate governance, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents, contracts, and agreements
• Advise on corporate governance, company structuring, and shareholder matters
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
• Ensure compliance with corporate, commercial, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and business partners as needed
• Monitor legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them
• Prepare and review internal policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Law degree (Master’s degree is a plus)
• 2+ years of professional experience 
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, employment and commercial law
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills (in both Azerbaijani and English)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
