Job Description:
- The Stores Director will be responsible for end-to-end operational oversight of 2 retail stores and B2B sales channels. This includes people management, inventory control, sales strategy, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, train, and support the sales team to reach their goals.
- Sales: Define and manage sales targets by product category (e.g., guitars, digital pianos, studio monitors), track sales performance, and optimize store profitability.
- Store Operations: Oversee daily store activities, stock levels, and customer service.
- Planning & Strategy: Find ways to improve sales, and customer experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Make sure store displays look attractive and follow brand standards.
- Stock Movement: Monitor stock levels of key items (e.g., synthesizers, drum kits, guitars etc), coordinate with the warehouse, and forecast demand based on seasonal trends and launches.
- B2B Sales: Build and maintain relationships with business clients.
- Product & Market Monitoring: Track best-selling products and follow market trends.
- Knowledge of Musical Instruments: Possessing extensive knowledge of various instruments, their features, and their suitability for different musical genres.
- E-Commerce: Manage online listings and pricing.
- Marketing: Lead the planning and execution of marketing activities.
- Logistics: Manage international shipping and customs.
- Finance & Admin: Help with financial records and daily admin tasks.
Requirements:
- Outstanding leadership and operations management skills
- Retail Experience: Having a proven track record in the retail industry, understanding sales strategies, and managing inventory effectively.
- Speaks Azerbaijani, Russian, and English
- Organized, analytical, and focused on growth
