Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with Product, Mobile, Frontend, Data, and QA teams to enhance product functionality, performance, and reliability. The role offers opportunities to contribute to AI-driven features, influence technical architecture, and grow with a dynamic, multi-country product.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services for a multi-country product.
• Work closely with Product, Mobile, Frontend, Data, and QA teams.
• Build and maintain APIs used by mobile applications, partner systems, and internal tools.
• Participate in architectural decisions, and continuously improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to data-driven, AI-ready features, such as fraud prevention, personalization, and smart automation.
• Help evolve our backend as the product grows in users, partners, and overall complexity.

Our Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience with PHP.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and clean architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Confident use of Git and Git Flow.
• Basic understanding of Vue, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for effective collaboration.
• Experience in startup or product teams is a strong plus.
• Ownership mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to grow with the product.
