Job Purpose:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining quality control procedures and ensuring that all processes comply with ISO standards. This role focuses on the creation of detailed procedures for employee training and the supervision of quality audits, ensuring that products meet established quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed quality control procedures for all stages of the production process, ensuring consistency and compliance with ISO standards.
- Create training materials and guides for employees to ensure that new hires can be properly trained and integrated into production roles based on documented procedures.
- Ensure all production procedures are clearly documented to facilitate the seamless replacement of staff.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001) across all production processes.
- Manage the preparation for ISO certification audits and lead the internal audit process.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure that quality management systems are aligned with production goals and are continuously improved.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
- Ensure that corrective actions are taken to address any non-conformances found during audits.
- Work closely with production team to ensure that production processes are optimized and aligned with quality requirements.
- Support the production team by providing clear guidelines and procedures related to quality control.
- Regularly review production data to identify trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate quality risks.
- Monitor the conditions of materials and products in storage, ensuring that storage procedures meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with the HSE Manager to ensure that quality control procedures align with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare regular quality reports for the technical director and senior management, highlighting key quality issues, audit findings, and recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain documentation of quality control activities and ensure that all records are kept in compliance with ISO and company requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in preparing for ISO audits.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production and technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
