JOB PURPOSE:
- Responsible for Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines as per OEM and NOMAC work instructions. Ensure completion of all relevant paperwork, including notifications, work orders and service reports, checklists, etc.

Technical
- Carry out required daily electrical maintenance work and routine preventative electrical maintenance work according to set schedule and ACWA NOMAC procedures to facilitate continuous operations.
- Employees in this role perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under guidance and supervision of more senior technical staff.
- understands schematics and single line diagrams and uses appropriate diagnostic tools;
- Should be able to understand and utilize NOMAC Documentation and procedures, including basic drawings and schematics and Work procedures, equipment, tooling, and machinery associated with routine wind turbine operation and maintenance.
- Must fully grasp basic electrical and mechanical maintenance skills enabling the individual to perform certain maintenance related tasks under supervision and understand and diligently follow instructions of more senior technicians and supervisors.
- Acquire technical knowledge and expertise in the maintenance of wind turbine generators, to progress to more senior capacity.
- Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wind turbines as per OEM and NOMAC work instructions.
- Completion of all relevant paperwork, including work orders and service reports, checklists, etc.
- Abide by all applicable health and safety procedures and promptly report detected non compliances.
- Performs Unscheduled maintenance consisting of troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems under guidance of more senior technicians.
- Assist Large Corrective teams with replacement of major turbine components such as generators and gearboxes.
- Assist in all areas of site operations to the extent required.
- Establish and maintain general safety from the system / Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO);
- Perform all activities in strict compliance with NOMAC Policies and Procedures and customer site rules, including but not limited to HSE procedures such as Permit to Work (PTW).
- Report all incidents and occurrences as per NOMAC Health and Safety policy.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems (under direction and supervision, if needed).
- Performs wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repairs.
- Recognizes occurrences of wind turbine error codes and appropriately reports the problem.
- Connects to SCADA and checks details of fault alarm and history of related faults, and prepares parts and tools required in the most efficient way.
- Assists with removal and installation of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Assists with heavy equipment (crane) rigging and directing.
- Performs wind turbine controller maintenance and repair.
- Completes required reports and other paperwork, some of which require computer entry.
- Assists with high-voltage system maintenance and repair to the extent required.
- Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
- Maintains proper care of Company tools and vehicles.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn and continuously grow his/her expertise in advanced troubleshooting and repair of wind turbine generators.
Inventory
- Check the necessary stock levels of spare parts to support effective inventory control.
- Documentation
- Update the maintenance logbook and record details of work carried out including defaults, problems, various findings, and conditions of all equipment to ensure timely availability of information and organized referencing.
- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organization’s standards.
- Need to complete Mishkaty TQP L1-2-3-4 with JPM for all site-specific contents of Uzbek Wind Plants.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate / GED
- Persons with Wind Energy Certifications (preferred), Military Experience, Electrical and Electromechanical experience
- Proven knowledge of most relevant technical principles of main mechanical and electrical components
- Experience 0 to 2 years in Wind Energy, or Electrical, Mechanical and Technical Equipment
- Valid driving license (NON CDL / CDL)
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
- Must be able to climb a top freestanding wind turbine towers that exceed 100 m in height and work inside/outside of Nacelles (Machinery houses).
Minimum Experience:
- Experience 0 to 2 years in Wind Energy, or Electrical, Mechanical and Technical Equipment.

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English;
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and single line diagrams;

Physical Requirement
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear with high level of focus and awareness.
- The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 40 kg. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Employees must be physically fit enough to free climb 100-120 m multiple times a day while wearing 10 kg of climbing gear under extraordinary weather conditions.
- Must be capable of rescuing team mate anywhere in tower or wind turbine nacelle in the event of emergency. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
