Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To receive on a daily basis requisitions forwarded by PSCM and other customers
To check requisitions so as to ensure that:
- The description within the requisition is clear
- That items, goods, or materials within the requisition are in accordance with the Company’s designated commodity.
- Communicate immediately with BP PSCM / BP cataloguing department and / or the requestor any issues relating to descriptions that you consider poor or with insufficient information that may cause delays in processing requisition.
- To check if all part numbers and descriptions coincides and information is enough to refer to supplier
- To verify customer’s Quality Plan and check which certification/quality documentation required by them and add these requirements to their inquiries to suppliers.
- To verify items, require any special documentation such as MSDS/DGN/Certifications according to clients Quality Plan or any other document which may be needed while shipping/collection.
- To receive and to pass on immediately to the correct department or person questions or clarification requests made by manufacturers that were not picked up at the initial screening
- To communicate any delivery issues with BP PSCM or the requestor, to agree on an acceptable resolution.
- To receive and process orders directly, including verifying supplier responses. If any changes occur (e.g. parts are obsolete, superseded, or unavailable), promptly communicate these to BP PSCM, the cataloguing department, or the requestor, and update records accordingly.
- To track the full order lifecycle, from quotation to delivery, and regularly inform BP PSCM and/or the requestor about the status of requisitions in a format agreed by management.
- To provide written and / or verbal reports to management including the client’s management as may be necessary to ensure smooth contract flow.
- To monitor the requisition process and to report and possible changes to the working system that will help make the process more efficient
- To liaise with BP’s training department with the aim of taking full advantage of any possible training opportunities that you believe will benefit the client, the company as well as the individual.
- To chase quotes submitted to see reason of not receiving orders for submitted quote and take corrective actions
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience is Sales Department
- Bachelor’s degree with Technical background
- Experience in the Oil and Gas, Chemical or Electrical sector
- Knowledge on electrical Equipment
- Excellent problem solving and organization skills
- Self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian, Azerbaijani
- Good presentation skills
- Able to work as team member
