Reports to: Acting CEO
Role Purpose:
To lead and execute strategic, sales-oriented marketing initiatives across the full customer lifecycle for Roof Academic Training. This role will oversee a small marketing team and coordinate both digital and offline marketing activities with a focus on measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in development of the overarching marketing strategy and oversee its implementation covering brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Own and execute all marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, content strategy, brand positioning, and offline outreach
- Supervise and support the in-house marketing team and external marketing freelancers (e.g., digital marketing specialist, copywriter, designers)
- Coordinate and oversee event management activities (student fairs, info sessions, academic seminars, webinars, etc.) as part of integrated marketing efforts
- Plan and lead quarterly market research to understand customer needs, brand perception, and competitor positioning, and use insights to guide strategy
- Design and monitor customer lifecycle management activities, including CRM-driven lead nurturing, re-engagement flows, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and academic teams to create conversion-focused campaigns and track campaign ROI
- Monitor and report on marketing and sales performance using KPIs and analytics dashboards
- Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, designers, and marketing agencies
- Own the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources while maximizing campaign impact

- Ability to balance brand-building efforts with short-term lead generation goals
Requirements:
- 4+ years of marketing experience, including experience with campaign management and cross-functional coordination
- Prior experience managing or working alongside digital marketing specialists and creative teams
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Ads Manager, Google Ads, GTM, email automation tools, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Marketing CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have, not mandatory):
- Experience in the education sector or working with youth-focused brands
- Proficiency in English and/or Russian
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing principles
- Familiarity with conducting or managing customer/market research projects
- Experience in organizing in-person, online, and hybrid events (e.g., open days, fairs, webinars)
- Familiarity with customer retention program design
