Sessions: Once per week, 1 hour (4:00 - 5:00 pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on experiments and activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to foster curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Design lesson plans that include demonstrations and interactive projects to explain key concepts in physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering.
- Guide students through inquiry-based learning, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure lessons are age-appropriate, engaging, and accessible to primary school students with varying levels of interest and understanding.
- Promote teamwork and creativity by organizing collaborative, project-based learning experiences.
- Continuously adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in teaching or delivering STEAM educational programs to young learners.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct experiments and explain scientific and engineering concepts in an engaging, hands-on manner.
- Proficiency in English to facilitate clear communication and effective instruction.
- Creative thinking and a passion for making STEAM concepts accessible and fun for primary school students.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain an inspiring and safe learning environment.
