Job Summary:
- We are looking for a Community Specialist at SABAH.HUB who will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of community and ecosystem activities. The role includes conducting ecosystem research, maintaining partner and speaker pipelines, coordinating communication with stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of events and engagement initiatives.
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Social Sciences;
- 1-2 years of experience in community, partnerships, events, research, or coordination roles;
- Experience in startup ecosystems, education hubs, or innovation environments is an advantage;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office;
- High attention to detail and structured approach to work.
Your key Responsibilities:
Research & Ecosystem Mapping
- Conduct research on ecosystem players, startups, companies, speakers, and potential partners;
- Prepare and maintain target lists for partnerships, collaborations, and community initiatives;
- Support ecosystem mapping activities for SABAH.city, Baku ID, and related platforms;
- Collect and organize data required for events, partnerships, and community programs.
Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
- Initiate first-level outreach to potential partners via email, LinkedIn, and calls;
- Track communication pipelines and maintain an up-to-date stakeholder database;
- Prepare meeting briefs, partner summaries, and supporting materials;
- Follow up with partners, speakers, and collaborators on next steps and deadlines.
Event & Engagement Support
- Support preparation and coordination of community events and activities;
- Prepare and manage speaker, partner, and participant lists;
- Coordinate pre-event confirmations and post-event follow-ups;
- Provide operational support during events when required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain structured records of partners, sponsors, speakers, and interactions;
- Ensure all communications and activities are documented and updated in shared trackers;
- Collect and consolidate data for regular reporting;
- Support improvement of internal tracking tools and processes.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong research and information structuring skills;
- Clear written and verbal communication;
- Ability to build and maintain organized databases and trackers;
- Proactive follow-up and ownership of tasks;
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
