What is expected from the candidate:

• Oversee timely preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, CF) of Saffron Group and partnership projects;
• Act as financial advisor and business partner to Saffron Group CEO, providing strategic guidance and direction to drive long-term financial goals;
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments to provide financial guidance on strategic plans, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, financial models for new projects;
• Monitor attainment of budgeted revenues, costs and profits through establishment of variance reporting;
• Manage cash flows of Saffron restaurant group including intra-company transactions.  Duly and timely identify and manage liquidity risks across entire portfolio;
• Be in-charge of operational risks in the Saffron financial system and ensure appropriate mitigations are in place. Collaborate with Risk Management team and Internal Audit team. 
• Ensure compliance with Saffron’s financial management and accounting policies/SOPs as well as tax and labor legislation;
• Maintain tax accounting and reporting in compliance with applicable tax legislation;
• Lead implementation of data interfaces between ERP, Inventory Management System, Point-of-sale, Management Reporting platforms and other IT nodes.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• A holder of a recognised accounting degree (ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.);
• A minimum of 5-year experience (hospitality industry is a plus);
• At least 3 years in a similar level finance leadership role;
• Strong financial data presentation skills (PowerPoint, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau), ability to coordinate data visualisation/design of performance dashboards for C-level teams;
• Excellent Azerbaijani, Russian and English verbal/written communication skills.
