What is expected from the candidate:

• To train all new housekeeping staff members;
• To be responsible for coordinating all the work of housekeeping staff;
• Directing housekeeping staff members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction;
• To resolve complaints from customers regarding the cleaning services;
• To uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct;
• Monitors inventory of all housekeeping supplies ensuring that staff has the necessary supplies available to perform their assignments;
• Bring any issues to the immediate attention of Restaurant Manager;
• To maintain all equipment clean, tidy and well maintained as per the standards;
• To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their economical use;
• To inspect all facilities, furniture and fixtures and report any damages to supervisors for action and follow up;
• To hand over to the supervisors all Lost and Found Items with full and detailed information;
• To keep all keys signed out in a secure manner and return them at the end of the shift to the security office;
• The employee undertakes not to use property and food products belonging to the restaurant where he operates without special authorization.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess: 

• Proven work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role;
• High school diploma or equivalent required, 
• Additional education or training in hospitality or housekeeping.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures;
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills;
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices;
