Job Summary: The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphic content, illustrations, and infographics, managing design projects from conception to delivery, and ensuring brand consistency across various marketing initiatives.

What is expected from the candidate:

• Design graphic content, illustrations, and infographics.
• Manage graphic design projects from conception to delivery.
• Review drafts from junior designers to ensure quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Generate fresh and innovative design concepts.
• Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
• Liaise between the marketing and design teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
• Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style, submitting them for approval.
• Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinate with external agencies, art services, web designers, marketing teams, printers and colleagues as necessary.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, restaurant menus and websites using software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Quark and Illustrator.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Quark and Illustrator.
• A strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
