Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for production processes
- Program, configure, and provide technical support for PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Develop, operate, and maintain HMI and SCADA systems
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot sensors, relays, VFDs, servo systems, and other automation equipment
- Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and electronic system failures
- Read, analyze, and apply electrical and automation schematics
- Install, test, and commission new equipment from an automation perspective
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Optimize production processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and industrial safety regulations
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other technical staff
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation
- Practical knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Good understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team with a high sense of responsibility
- English language proficiency – minimum Intermediate level
Advantages
- Experience with automated production lines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software
- Experience in equipment commissioning and preventive maintenance
