Job Summary:
- SAMT is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of products and systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative designs for new products, systems, and equipment
- Conduct research on materials and manufacturing methods to enhance product performance and durability
- Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and partners to ensure technical and functional compatibility of projects
- Review and verify designs for compliance with safety and quality standards; implement necessary improvements
- Prepare technical reports, design proposals, and specifications for management
- Identify design challenges and propose effective solutions
- Stay updated with the latest design technologies, materials, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering design
- Relevant professional certifications (preferred)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
