The X-Ray Operator is responsible for scanning metallic/chemical assembly units using X-ray technology to identify cracks, marks, pores, and other potential defects in manufactured parts. The X-Ray Operator analyzes X-ray images and determines whether the assembly units pass or fail the inspection. The operator is also responsible for achieving daily production volume targets and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray inspection equipment;
- Monitor and control the production process, ensuring compliance with quality standards;
- Handle parts in accordance with established procedures;
- Ensure daily production volume targets are achieved;
- Ensure the high quality of manufactured parts;
- Regularly inspect equipment and production results, identify any issues, and take appropriate corrective action;
- Comply with all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area;
- Document production activities and report any non-conformities or equipment malfunctions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Higher education or vocational/technical education;
- Knowledge of X-ray imaging techniques, radiation safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements;
- Familiarity with quality management systems and industrial accreditation standards;
- Experience working with computerized or automated production line systems;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings;
- Intermediate written and verbal English communication skills;
- Previous experience working with X-ray inspection equipment is considered an advantage.
