Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Economics, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in export management or international sales
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG exports is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in distributor management and cross-border logistics
  • Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and export documentation
  • Experience with pricing, contracts, and distributor agreements
  • Ability to manage multiple markets and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work across cultures and geographies
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Azerbaijani – fluent, English – advanced (mandatory), Russian - advanced (mandatory) due to CIS markets

Key Responsibilities:

Export Sales & Market Development

  • Develop and implement export strategies to expand the company’s presence in international markets
  • Identify and evaluate new export markets, partners, and distributors
  • Achieve export sales targets in line with approved budgets and strategic plans

Distributor & Partner Management

  • Select, appoint, and manage export distributors and partners
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and contracts
  • Monitor distributor performance, market coverage, and compliance with agreements

Regulatory & Documentation Coordination

  • Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure product registrations, renewals, and variations in export markets
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation (invoices, certificates, COO, GMP, CPP, etc.)
  • Support responses to regulatory and authority queries in export countries

Logistics & Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure timely product availability
  • Manage export logistics in line with Incoterms, customer requirements, and cold-chain conditions where applicable
  • Monitor shipment execution, delivery performance, and issue resolution

Forecasting & Planning

  • Prepare export sales forecasts and demand plans in coordination with Supply Chain
  • Support production and packaging planning for export markets
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking in export channels

Financial & Performance Management

  • Monitor export pricing, margins, and profitability
  • Coordinate with Finance on payments, credit terms, and risk management
  • Prepare regular export performance reports for management

Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, export regulations, trade controls, and ethical standards
  • Support audits related to export operations and international partners
