Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and executing PMP for all mechanical machines.
- Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of all pharmaceutical machines and equipment according to plan.
- It leads to troubleshooting efforts to determine root cause for mechanical failures.
- Prepare monthly report for his direct supervisor with all activities. under his responsibility and all solved as well as pending problems.
- Inspection of received spare parts & issue report for conformance with specifications.
- Check & review the recording of all maintenance operations in the machine logbook.
- Support one or more manufacturing process areas, overseeing all investigations and projects in that area.
- Stay current with assigned SOPs and keep an up-to-date training file ensuring compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Proficiency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint and can work in a team-based environment.
- Develops innovative design solutions for complex problems.
- Executes multiple projects or manufacturing support tasks in a cGMP environment, understanding regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
- Coordinate activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure the delivery of supplies or services needed to meet scheduled timelines.
- Identify and communicate with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Assists in developing policies, SOPs, and Quality and Engineering standards to meet industry and regulatory requirements.
- Complies with the Safety Program, including Health and Safety mandates and OSHA requirements.
- Completes other duties assigned by senior management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical machines is a must ex. (Solid, Semi-Solid and sterile production machines).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: preferable in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum experience of 8 years in pharmaceutical industry including but not limited solid dosage forms.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Ability to communication effectively in English is preferable (written & spoken);
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex operations.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
