Sea Breeze Resort LLC is looking for a Leading Financial Reporting Specialist!

Job description:

• Prepare semiannual and annual consolidated and standalone IFRS financial statements, including timely and accurate preparation of supporting notes and disclosures;
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with external auditors, the Company, its subsidiary companies, finance teams, and other key stakeholders throughout the audit process;
• Analyze the financial statements of the Company and its subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and IFRS requirements, identifying inconsistencies, implementing necessary improvements, and enhancing overall reporting quality;
• Monitor updates to existing and new IFRS standards, assess their potential impact on the Company and its subsidiary companies, and propose appropriate implementation strategies;
• Support continuous improvement of the financial reporting cycle, including automation of processes, simplification and standardization of reporting, and strengthening the analytical depth of financial outputs;
• Support automation and integration of IFRS requirements within the ERP system;
• Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities from a financial and reporting perspective, including financial feasibility reviews and impact assessments;
• Support the evaluation of the profitability and performance of current projects, providing analytical insights to assist management in project monitoring and decision-making;
• Identify risk areas within finance-related business processes and provide actionable recommendations to enhance internal controls, efficiency, and compliance.

Experience, Competencies and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting;
• 3–5 years of professional experience in financial reporting or financial analysis;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel) and 1C ERP;
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or other financial certifications are preferable;
• Experience in Big4 companies will be considered like the advantage.
