Sea Breeze Resort is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Audit team!
Location: Sea Breeze Resort, Nardaran, Azerbaijan
Department: Internal Audit
Reports to: Internal Audit Manager
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Internal Audit team as a Senior Internal Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within the audit team, sharing responsibilities and professional expertise;
- Analyze data to identify control deficiencies, non-compliance with legislation, and deviations from internal policies and procedures;
- Review business processes and participate in risk assessments;
- Perform audit procedures, including testing, walkthroughs, and stakeholder interviews;
- Conduct data verification using appropriate audit techniques;
- Prepare clear and well-structured audit documentation in line with Internal Audit standards;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting systems and ensure compliance with accepted accounting practices;
- Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the successful delivery of audit engagements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit and Business Administration or a related field;
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in internal or external audit;
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills;
- Proficiency in 1C software;
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIA (Part 1 or higher), CFE are preferred;
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, risk assessment, and audit methodologies;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an advantage.

- Schedule: 5-day work week (09:00 – 18:00);
