Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and cultivate relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with procurement objectives and operational requirements.
- Source, negotiate, and secure high-quality, cost-efficient materials, equipment, and services to support ongoing operations.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, benchmark prices, and assess competitors, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with operational, technical, and project management teams to ensure procurement aligns with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and purchase agreements, ensuring favorable terms while complying with company policies and legal regulations.
- Optimize inventory levels to maintain supply chain efficiency, minimize stockouts, and control costs.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing quality, delivery, or compliance issues promptly, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare and present detailed procurement reports, including supplier performance, cost analysis, and market trends, to senior management.
- Drive process improvements, implement cost-saving initiatives, and recommend operational enhancements to increase procurement efficiency.
- Provide expert support and guidance on procurement-related matters, including product specifications and supplier-related inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience; prior experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred
- Proficiency in English and Russian (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, supply chain operations, and market dynamics.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast- paced environment.

Working Conditions
- Location: Baku, Azerbaijan.
- Sector: Oil and gas.
- Salary: 1200 – 1500 AZN
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5-day work week.
