Role Overview:
The Product Manager, AI & Automation is responsible for driving the company’s strategic automation initiatives by identifying high-impact business opportunities and managing them from concept to execution. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that all projects deliver measurable financial results and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Discovery & Prioritization.
- Partner with business units (Sales, Retail, Ops) to identify and analyze processes that are ripe for automation
- Build the business case for each initiative, defining project scope, goals, and a clear ROI justification.
- Product & Project Management:
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the engineering team
- Own and manage the project backlog and roadmap for the two-person strike team.
- Lead project sprints, remove roadblocks, and ensure solutions are delivered on time.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all business stakeholders.
- Measure the performance of deployed automations and report on their financial impact and efficiency gains to senior leadership.
Change Management.
- Drive the adoption of new automated tools and processes within the relevant departments
- Develop training materials and support teams through the transition to ensure successful implementation.
Professional Knowledge:
- Business process analysis - Advanced level
- ROI and business case development - Expert level

- Project management (Agile, Waterfall) - Advanced level
- Data analysis and interpretation - Advanced level
- MS Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint) - Expert level
- Process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) - Intermediate level
- Azerbaijani language - Native or fluent
- English language - Advanced level
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related field
- Master's degree in relevant field preferred
- Professional certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, CBAP) advantageous
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in in product management, project management, or business analysis
- Proven experience leading technology-driven projects from concept to launch
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Track record of successful process improvement initiatives
