Purpose.
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of building and managing our data infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring the secure, efficient, and scalable handling of large datasets from various sources to support real-time data processing and analysis. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in configuring and optimizing data lakes and real-time processing platforms, enabling our teams to leverage data for strategic insights and decision-making.
Data engineer Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in data engineering, big data analytics, computer engineering, information technology or related field. Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years in data engineering and big data technologies.
- Deep expertise in designing and managing large data infrastructures
- Proficiency in the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Spark, and Hive.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with data lakes and real-time data processing platforms, such as Kafka and Storm.
- A knack for independence and group work.
Data engineer Responsibilities.
- Apply engineering principles to design, build, and maintain large-scale data infrastructures, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Develop and manage real-time data processing platforms and data lakes, establishing secure systems for data storage, processing, and analysis.
- Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data collection, cleaning, structuring, and creating a smooth flow across multiple sources.
- Implement robust data quality and validation processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
