Job Overview:

• The E3D Model Clean-Up Specialist is responsible for reviewing and cleaning existing 3D models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the latest design specifications and operational requirements. The specialist will identify and rectify inconsistencies, reconcile models with relevant data, and ensure the models meet the required standards.

Key accountabilities:

• Manage system set-up, admin and database maintenance.
• Ensure that deliverables can be produced from the model and that the content complies with the Company and client standards and conventions.
• Co-ordinate with Engineering Systems to provide support for resolution of CAD application issues.
• Develop and implement 3D CAD management plan incorporating project and contractual requirements.
• Develop specifications, procedures work instructions and job notes. Support 3D model management processes and the development of the 3D Multi-discipline E3D.
• Develop 3D model hierarchy and naming conventions.
• System administration, create project, hierarchy, backup and permissions.
• Customization, color definition, name rules, symbols and interference check.
• PML expressions/programming (an advantage)
• Work with project management teams to meet deadlines and project goals.

Skills, Qualifications and Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Oil&Gas Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years or more knowledge of engineering, design, procurement or construction within a relevant industry (e.g. Oil & Gas, Energy or Marine industries) from either an owner-operator or an engineering contractor background.
• 5 years or more experience of AVEVA 3D products or similar technologies
• Experience of execution of AVEVA applications through a detailed design phase of EPC projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of multiple AVEVA products would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Information Management practices would be an advantage.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
