Brief Job Description:
This position is starting from the FEED phase sanction with the possibility to continue to the EPC phase until the completion of the Development phase including Project close-out.
The job holder will report to the Early work site Lead and review the construction activities during the Early works and during the main construction phase. This includes overseeing:
- Road access and Site Early work.
- Site CPF Construction.
- Onshore Pipeline installation
- Onshore Tie-ins
Candidate's personal qualities:
- Ability to coordinate the Onshore construction phase (Civil, excavation, roads, drainage, pavements, carparks, stormwater, Structure and ME&I).
- Eye for detail, quality assurance and analytical working are paramount for this key role.
- Requires team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders including diverse international teams, vendors & subs, affiliates, HQ, etc.
Job duties:
The job holders must possess experience in Oil and Gas Onshore Construction activities and will perform the following activities:
- Within the Early work team, review the early work site construction preparation and activities:
- Early work (mainly civil work)
- Road access
- Relocation of Power line
- Review the FEED contractor early work engineering deliverables and ensure compliance to COMPANY general specification, project standard and international standard
- Ensure that FEED contractor early work engineering documents are submitted in line with FEED planning and expected early work CFT
- Participate to the preparation of the early work CFT exhibits and scope of work dossier
- Ensure integration within the CFT of robust dossier preparation
- Ensure proper and effective planning and execution of each assigned activities.
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to comply with health and safety standards.
- Coordinating efforts between various stakeholders including engineering, contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting status to management.
- Review the proposals to identify potential risks.
- Ensure high quality and efficient project team execution by being a real motivator for a satisfactory global performance.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure that applicable procedures and standards are followed.
Additional requirements (education, experience)
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position for international Oil & Gas industries.
- Strong Civil Work management on Geotech risks and regulatory constraints throughout the project.
- Familiar with applicable Azerbaijan regulations, codes and standards
- Engineer/ Master Civil Engineering degree or other relevant and recognized qualification
