We are now searching for a committed and strong personality eager to make a change for children by supporting our work in the position of CORPORATE FUNDRAISER.
The main aim of the Corporate Fundraiser is to pursue opportunities to fund the running / programme costs and investments of the Association from corporate sector donations in order to increase / establish the financial self-sufficiency of the Association and to define, implement and fulfill the middle-term Corporate Fundraising Strategy reflected in the business plans of the Organization; by monitoring, evaluating and analysing the actual results (vs. the targets) and the competitor activities. Establish and maintain longterm partnerships with corporate donors, act as role model in partnership negotiations; manage and upgrade the accounts, network and position the SOS Children’s Villages International brand according  to the brand vision, mission and values.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Raising cash donations from companies through long term partnership agreements by meeting the potential and existing donors;
  • Develop, implement and update the national Corporate Fundraising Strategy
  • Develop the annual Corporate Fundraising Business Plan, budget and supervision on the development of the annual CFR tools (product portfolio and packages, presentations, proposals, partners’ categorisation, loyalty services)
  • Manage and service all existing corporate donors with donor loyalty activities (thank you letter, reporting etc.);
  • Build up and constantly maintain a central corporate donors database,
  • ensuring efficient donor loyalty activities and allowing an overview of donor status at any time (contact details, contract duration, donation amount, meeting dates etc.);
  • Internal reporting and evaluating of all fundraising activities;
  • Constant market observation (desk top research) of the corporate world and monitoring of NGO activities in terms of fundraising being able to constantly improve fundraising activities.
  • Lead the account management: steward the big corporate accounts of the Association, build and develop long-term partnerships with new corporate donors; lead and supervise the distribution of accounts and sectors among the other CFR team members
  • Support and monitor the Corporate Fundraising performance.

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

  • Responsible to raise awareness of the SOS Child Protection Policy principles and to prevend and protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination
  • Carries out Child Safeguarding risk assessment within his/her area of work and ensures that relevant actions are put in place to mitigate existing and possible CS risks
  • Responsible for Crisis communication process in CS incidents monitored by or escalated by GSC following the Crisis communication Policy support document
  • Responsible to report any Child Safeguarding suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately, following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to respective line manager

YOUR PROFILE:

  • University degree in the field of international business development / marketing / sales / business administration / business management / public relations or communications. Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be considered as asset;
  • At least 5 years of proven experience and results in the field of fundraising, marketing or sales at international NGOs or at multinational companies;
  • Advanced level of negotiation skills, proven experience in negotiations and key account management;
  • Fluent spoken and written English, Azeri and Russian;
  • Strong motivation to identify with the vision, mission and values of SOS Children’s Villages;
  • MS Office, Power Point knowledge;
  • Readiness to travel (internal and abroad);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Successful relationship- and network building skills with different types of stakeholders at different levels of various organisations, companies, business partners;
  • Positive working attitude and ability to work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Full time employment contract- 5 days; 09:00- 18:00
  • Area – Str.137 Nizami, Baku AZ1010 (orientation-Chinese Embassy) 
  • Gross salary – 1900 AZN
