General Responsibilities
- Carry out, coordinate, and supervise the design and construction of facilities in accordance with plans approved by management.
- Conduct initial site visits and analyses; perform measurements and record them in measurement sheets.
- Prepare concept (sketch) and working drawings, define specifications, and calculate quantities of works.
- Ensure interdisciplinary coordination (architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, ICT, and other design- and construction-related information) and integrate inputs from various parties into the design and construction processes.
- Supervise the selection, application, and installation of materials; propose alternatives when necessary.
- Provide technical support during the project tender process, define specifications, verify quantities of works, and issue relevant technical opinions.
- Supervise repair and installation works on site, ensuring that works are carried out in the proper technological sequence.
- Participate in relevant site tests and inspections, as well as in the construction handover and commissioning process.
- Ensure timely submission of design and cost estimate documentation; monitor the proper use of investment funds, compliance with construction schedules, adherence to applicable construction legislation, and timely commissioning of the facility.
Candidate Requirements
- Higher education in Architecture.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience (office and site).
- Knowledge of applicable norms and regulations.
- General practical and theoretical background in related disciplines—structural, mechanical, and electrical/low-current systems—with understanding of basic concepts and principles.
- Language skills: Azerbaijani – mandatory; English – mandatory.
- Computer skills: MS Office and AutoCAD – mandatory; SketchUp and Archicad – an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and under limited supervision.
- Strong management and communication skills.
