Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, including faulty wiring, equipment breakdowns, lighting issues, and power outages.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
• System Servicing: Maintain and service electrical panels, power distribution boards, generators, elevators, HVAC units, and other critical hotel electrical systems.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and hotel policies.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, such as Engineering, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage, to address electrical needs.
• Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties to address emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system upgrades.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical safety codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and energy management systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call for emergencies.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Electrician certificate.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
