Responsibilities:
- Execute Trades: Accept and execute orders from clients promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to trade guidelines and regulations.
- Client and Counterparty Communication: Maintain regular and efficient communication with clients and counterparties, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving trade-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Corporate Actions: Apply knowledge of corporate actions, such as dividends, stock splits, and mergers, to ensure accurate processing and communication to clients.
- Trade Limits: Set and monitor trade limits for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management guidelines.
- Instrument Availability and Status: Ensure up-to-date availability and status information for financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, derivatives, and other traded assets.
- Market Working Schedule: Maintain awareness of market schedules and trading hours for various exchanges and ensure accurate execution of trades within the designated market hours.
- Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of trades, client interactions, and other relevant information using appropriate systems and tools.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to regulatory and compliance policies, monitor trade activities for any potential risks, and promptly report any concerns or violations to the appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in an investment company or brokerage firm.
- Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and counterparties.
- Proficient in trade execution systems and platforms.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Broker license: The candidate will be required to pass the brokerage license examination during the course of employment, but it is not a requirement to enter the position
