Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing material approval document, method statement document and Quality Control plans/procedures.
- Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports;
- Supervision and witness inspections, check reports and documentation and collect and file the required quality records.
- Provide daily QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner;
- Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary;
- Cooperation and implementation of relative corrective actions, NCR, etc. Systematically records the nonconformity or event reports issued and identify appropriate corrective actions.
- Manage collaboration of measurement instruments and related certifications.
- Check the completeness and conformity to specified applicable requirements, standards and/or directives.
- Ensure that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out and that personnel have access to all required project documentation.
- Ensure that all sites activities are carried out according to reference documentation within responsibility, authorizing their acceptance at quality control completion.
- Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project specific contract documents;
- Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project;
- Coordinate and document the testing and commissioning of building systems; Maintain the project "as-built" drawings on a daily basis;
- Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts and warranties.
Required skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in construction and fit-out work is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position.
- Fluent in English, Azerbaijani.
