Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Tour Desk Agent. This role involves promoting and selling tours to hotel guests, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with travel-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell hotel tours and activities to guests;
- Provide detailed information about available tours, itineraries, and pricing;
- Assist guests with booking tours, transportation, and other travel-related services;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and activities;
- Ensure customer satisfaction by offering personalized recommendations based on guests' interests and needs;
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner;
- Process payments and manage bookings through the hotel’s reservation system;
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales (experience in the travel or tourism industry is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of local attractions, events, and tourist services.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and reservation software (experience with booking systems is a plus).
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
